I think this was one of the best matches in this tournament. Incredible game match in five sets, the audience simply enjoyed. The Japanese started bad in first set, lost with 6-1 in favor of Murray. But in the second set Nishikori has strengthened its game while Murray had a lot of mistakes, and managed to win 6-4. In third set again dominated Briton Murray, he won with 6-4. In the fourth set incredible game by Nishikori, like watching new tennis player, the crowd liked because they will see and fifth set (6-1 in favor of Nishikori). The fifth set lasted for the longest, Nishikori reach to win with 7-5 and makes historical victory for him, goes in semi-final at US OPEN for the first time.

Fourth quarter final match: Juan Martin Del Potro vs Stan Wawrinka.
Result: 6-7, 6-4, 3-6, 2-6. In contrast to Nishikori, Wawrinka had an easier task against Argentine Del Potro. In those early-morning hours, Stan the Man summoned enough energy yo keep the crowd on its feet. Wawrinka managed to win in fourth sets and reached the US OPEN semi-finals for third time. In semi-finals he will play against Japanese Kei Nishikori.
