Twenty two years old French tennis player had excelent game and defeat Rafael Nadal in fifth sets 6-1, 2-6, 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (after tie break 8-6). Pouille had impresive start and surprises Nadal in the first set when only for 27 minutes managed to win with 6-1. Rafa had a lot of mistakes in the match and suffered many close battle his forehands letting him down when it matters. At the end of the match Rafael Nadal with head down left the court while Lucas Pouille celebrated victory.
Gael Monfils took easy victory against veteran Marcos Baghdatis in three sets 6-3, 6-2, 6-3.
